About the Role


Under the supervision of the CTO and the R&D manager, and in collaboration with the wider PRONœ team (R&D and Engineering teams) you will be a part of our Operations team. You facilitate the day-to-day operations on site, and ensure that all operational and safety requirements are taken care of.



Responsibilities


  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities on the operations site for the operations, deliveries, visits, subcontractors' interventions on our site, and any other activity happening on PRONœ's site.
  • Assist the CTO and the RD&D Manager in configuring the test campaigns and operationally assist in performing them, in close collaboration with expert team members.
  • Uphold safety rules and regulations on site.
  • Participate in meetings on lessons learned, safety reviews, design reviews, among others.
  • Help with data safeguarding and results analysis.


Qualifications


  • MEng./MSc. with a degree in Chemical, Process or Industrial Engineering, or any other relevant degree.



Required Skills


  • Proficiency in scientific English, good writing, and oral communication skills are necessary.
  • Technical skills: experimental work, chemical engineering, Microsoft Office.
  • Autonomy, flexibility and adaptability are a must, together with a results-oriented mindset.
  • A pragmatic, autonomous, and rigorous individual with analytical and synthetical thinking.
  • An open-minded, humble, reliable and trustworthy team player.


Preferred Skills


  • Experience in running industrial operations of water or chemical processes is a plus, as well as the use of analytical tools, laboratory-level equipment, and data treatment.
  • Relevant Industries: Water treatment, chemical production, environmental, wastewater treatment, food industry, and pharmaceutical industry.



Pay range and compensation package


A 6-month renewable fixed-term position based in Gran Canaria (Spain), with possible travels in Europe. Competitive compensation, based on seniority and experience. Benefits: health insurance, meal vouchers, 50% commute refund. We can sponsor/support relocation visa if needed.
