Site Manager (HV Cabling)

Our client, a leading company in the power distribution and energy sector, is currently seeking a Site Manager to join their team. This is a permanent role focused on managing EHV cable projects across the Swindon & West London region.

If you have an SMSTS, Streetworks Supervisor ticket and have a good knowledge / experience of Utilities Infrastructure (Gas/Water/Telecoms/Highways) we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all aspects of site management for EHV cable projects
• Ensuring compliance with NRSWA and SMSTS regulations
• Managing teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget
• Coordinating with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members
• Implementing safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections
• Monitoring and managing the use of resources and equipment
• Providing detailed progress reports and maintaining project documentation
• Resolving any on site issues and mitigating project risks

Job Requirements:

• SMSTS
• NRSWA Supervisory ticket
• Safe Digging practices / HSG47
• Utilities knowledge (Excavation, Ducting, Laying Utilities, Backfill & Reinstatement)
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• HV Power experience for an ICP / DNO (Desirable)
