Site Manager

Take overall responsibility for the safe, compliant and efficient running of the site operation
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in goods receiving and dispatching goods in line with the agreed schedule
Manage legal and operational compliance for the department
Oversee aviation security requirements and warehouse standards
Organise available resources to maximise operational effectiveness
Manage, control and report all costs, KPIs and operational statistics within budget
Communicate effectively with the customer and internal colleagues
Monitor and maintain written security check records
Schedule random checks and address deficiencies
Lead warehouse operations from goods receipt and security screening through to dispatch

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Site Manager role, ideally within an airport consignment centre environment
• Logistics sector experience is essential
• Experience managing teams, driving performance, and handling disciplinary, absence and grievance processes
• Commercial and financial acumen, including budget management, resource planning, and delivering operational KPIs
• Excellent decision making, organisational and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritise workloads and perform effectively under pressure
• Strong communication, reporting and IT skills
• Proactive approach to Health & Safety and stakeholder management
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
• IOSH qualification desirable
