Job Description

PE Global is working with one of Ireland's leading construction companies to recruit a Site Manager to join the team on a project in Newbridge, Kildare. This is a full time permanent role.

The Company:

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, to a high standard and in line with the agreed programme.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing site operations, including health & safety, quality control and site logistics.
  • Supervising and coordinating subcontractors, forepersons and site personnel.
  • Managing the Company's HSEQ systems and procedures.
  • Planning and managing site set-up, security, deliveries and traffic management.
  • Working closely with the Project Manager to ensure works are completed in line with the construction programme and project requirements.
  • Coordinating the sequencing of trades, particularly during fit-out and finishing stages, to maximise quality and minimise rework.
  • Monitoring labour, plant, materials and other site resources to ensure production targets are achieved.
  • Identifying and resolving issues on site to maintain programme, quality and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience in Site Management.
  • Experience across commercial, industrial, residential, fit-out and/or refurbishment projects.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety, construction processes and site management.
  • Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
