Job Description

Our client are one of Ireland's leading building contractors, delivering award-winning projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, and educational sectors nationwide. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and sustainability, they are known for delivering complex projects on time and to the highest standards.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team for a major construction project in Co. Dublin. This is a long term position offering excellent progression opportunities within a Tier 1 environment.

The Site Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of all on site operations, ensuring the successful delivery of the project in line with programme, safety, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing medium to large scale construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all site operations and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and site teams to meet programme deadlines.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.

  • Liaise with the project management and design teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.

  • Monitor progress, quality, and productivity, preparing regular site reports.

  • Manage material deliveries, logistics, and site resources effectively.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and all project stakeholders.

Key Requirements:
  • Degree or trade background in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 1 + years' experience in a Site Management role with a main contractor.

  • Proven track record delivering commercial, residential, or educational projects.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisation skills.

  • Strong focus on health and safety management and quality control.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

  • Full driver's licence required.
