School Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to provide temporary cover and ensure a local school continues to run safely, smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment across the school site
• Oversee and support maintenance assistants; manage daily workloads
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, including all required checks, inspections and record-keeping (fire alarms, emergency lighting, security systems, water testing, PAT testing, etc.)
• Manage site security, including opening/locking the school, alarm response and CCTV monitoring
• Carry out routine maintenance, minor repairs and emergency tasks
• Oversee contractors, ensure work is completed safely and to standard
• Maintain stock, equipment and cleaning materials
• Ensure the grounds, facilities and classrooms remain safe, tidy and operational throughout the day

This role requires someone proactive, reliable and able to take ownership of the school's site management needs from day one.
