Site manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join our wonderful team at Longmeadow. Longmeadow is going through an exciting period of change and this role will play a key part in this development. We are looking for someone with a positive, can do attitude, who is hardworking, committed, motivated and trustworthy and will take pride in looking after our school.

The new Site Manager will ensure that the school site is a safe, clean, tidy and secure environment for pupils, staff, families, and visitors. They will participate fully in all aspects of the life of the school and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders. The role requires practical DIY skills, good maintenance ability, and initiative. It involves a lot of physical effort, walking around a large site, and elements of lifting and carrying. Responsibility also includes completing statutory paperwork and basic IT skills. The Site Manager will work closely with the school Business Manager on statutory requirements, ensuring compliance with current legislation and guidelines.

Part time and full time applicants are welcome to apply. Ideally, the role would be 30 hours a week - with split shifts (7:00 am - 9:30 am and 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm). Closing date: 05/01/:00:00. Interview date: 8th Jan 2026.
