Site Manager - Kildare (New Project)

Job Title - Site Manager Project - Education Job Location - Kildare Salary - €75K - €85K + package

About the Company

Industry leading Main Contractor with a reputation for delivering high value projects across the whole of Ireland.

Projects typically valued from €20M - €150M across a range of sectors including data, commercial, hospitality, high rise apartments etc.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any Site Manager to gain experience working on an interesting education project in the Kildare area with a reputable contractor.

This role would Ideally suit someone with 5+ years' experience managing large scale residential projects with an Irish Main Contractor.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of the construction of commercial new builds and fit outs.
• Oversee all site activities and manage manpower on site including direct staff, trades and subcontractors
• Host meetings with Architects, Design Team, site crew and Senior Management to update them on the progress of the projects.
• Lead weekly toolbox talk and whiteboard meetings.
• Updating the site diary.
• Read and interoperate drawings to ensure works completed are accurate.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, ordering of materials and meeting deadlines.
• Perform company compliance, H&S and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or similar trades Qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years' experience managing commercial projects with a Main Contractor in Ireland
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
• Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
