With a strong pipeline of projects ahead, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of diverse and challenging builds in Canterbury. You will be working on projects that push your skills, and provide scope for professional growth, whilst leading a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding results.
At Cook Brothers Construction, you will be empowered to bring fresh ideas, refine your craft and make a lasting impact. Working closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Trade Partners and your site team, you will ensure projects are delivery safely, on time, on budget and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities- Strategically plan and effectively managing the construction program
- Lead and support the team both on and off the tools to achieve project milestones
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and trade partners
- Proactively identify risks and implement effective solutions
- Oversee Health and Safety reporting and ensure site-wide compliance
- Monitor project budgets, cost control and quality standards
- Coach and mentor the site team, fostering growth and success
- Chair toolbox talks and site meetings, ensuring clear communication across the project team
- Ensure adherence to construction methodology, codes, policies and procedures

Skills and Experience- 5-10 years site management experience in commercial construction
- Proven programme and planning management skills including last planner
- A strong ability to use and maintain systems
- Proficient in quality assurance including the use of quality assurance systems
- A proven track record of strong leadership and management - the ability to connect and influence people
- Excellent communication skills, including navigating challenges with confidence
- A high level of Health & Safety leadership and compliance awareness
