Site Civil Engineer (Setting Out)

A well established Main Contractor with a strong pipeline of work is seeking a Site Civil Engineer for a housing development in Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 3+ years' experience to join a busy project team delivering high quality residential units.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out for all elements of the works including groundworks, roads, drainage, and housing units
• Interpreting drawings and specifications to ensure accurate construction on site
• Liaising with subcontractors, site management, and design teams
• Ensuring works are completed in line with project programme and quality standards
• Maintaining accurate site records, including as built surveys and reports
• Assisting with quality control and health & safety compliance on site
• Monitoring and coordinating subcontractor activities

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in a site engineering role (residential/civils preferred)
• Strong setting out experience using Total Station and GPS equipment
• Good knowledge of Irish construction standards and site practices
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
