Site Engineer

Site Engineer Gorey, Co. Wexford The CSR Group are working with a residential contractor who is seeking a Site Engineer for a housing development in Gorey. With the current phase at an advanced stage, the role combines ownership of finishing works and quality assurance with setting out duties. There is at least four years of planned work locally, with further projects to follow. Package €70,000 €75,000 depending on experience. Responsibilities Take ownership of engineering checks and quality across finishing works. Carry out setting out, surveys and dimensional checks as required. Coordinate subcontractors and resolve technical queries with the site team. Track defects, inspections and close-out actions through to handover. Maintain accurate quality records and as-built information. Requirements Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline. Previous Site Engineering experience, ideally on housing developments. Strong setting out skills and a practical understanding of finishing works. Confident taking responsibility for quality and subcontractor coordination. ICF experience is highly beneficial; Irish Water/Uisce Éireann experience is an advantage.
