Site Engineer Jobs in MayoThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Site Engineer to join a busy civil engineering team working across infrastructure and construction projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in site supervision, setting out, quality control, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with current Irish Health & Safety regulations and company safety policies
- Oversee quality control on site for all aspects of the works
- Assist in the supervision and monitoring of daily site operations
- Carry out setting out for all elements of works
- Maintain daily site records and testing documentation
- Assist with updating project programmes and schedules
- Supervise subcontractors and coordinate site activities
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and project representatives
- Attend progress and site update meetings
- Organise site facilities to meet project deadlines
- Resolve technical issues and site challenges as they arise
- Ensure works are completed to specification and programme requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years' experience in civil engineering projects
- Experience working on roads, drainage, earthworks, or pipeline projects
- Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer
- Proficient in GPS systems, Total Stations, and Dumpy Levels
- Experience using AutoCAD software
- Minimum NFQ Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills with fluent written and spoken English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
- Full clean driver's licence
- Traffic Management and Underground Services certification advantageous
