Role: Site Engineer
Location: Leicester (work across Midlands)
Salary: Up to £60k per annum (depending on experience)
Additional: Company vehicle, fuel card, full benefits package

We are delighted to be supporting our client, an well-established civil engineering contractor operating across the midlands and providing civil engineering support on a range of construction and infrastructure projects.

They are currnetly looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join their civil engineering team working on a range of projects across the midlands. You will undertake a variety of civils works, and experience in sectors such as residential new build would be advantageous.

Role Responsibilities:

• Setting out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular basis
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy
• Ensuring that quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with Client specification
• Providing engineering support to ensure any technical problems are overcome
• Conducting pre-start site surveys
• Ensuring a timely handover of works and quality records without outstanding defects, working closely with the Project Manager and installation teams
• Operating and promoting a high standard of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance
• Assisting in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise

Requirements:

• Have previously worked on Civils Projects
• Have a proven track record of setting out on civil engineering projects
• Possess a sound knowledge of construction methods, Health & Safety and legal regulations
• A valid CSCS card
• UK driving licence and happy to travel across Midlands
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with site-based team and Clients
