About Your New Role as a Site Engineer

As a Site Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in managing technical and site operations for civil and infrastructure works specifically road and utility projects, ensuring that all activities are completed efficiently, safely, and to exacting quality standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Set out, level, and survey the site to align work with project drawings and specifications.
  • Supervise works on site, resolve technical issues, and support on ground team coordination.
  • Monitor project progress, ensure quality compliance, and maintain thorough site documentation.
  • Oversee implementation of health and safety procedures.
  • Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project benchmarks.
What Skills You Need as a Site Engineer
  • At least 2 years' experience in a Site Engineer role within civil engineering or infrastructure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
  • Strong technical aptitude with solid understanding of site operations and industry standards.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within fast paced project teams.
