Site Engineer - Major Civils

Enable Resourcing is recruiting for a Site Engineer - Major Civils to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering complex infrastructure works across Central London.

This role will involve a combination of site and office-based responsibilities, supporting the successful delivery of major civils packages across high-profile projects.

You will play a key role in ensuring works are set out accurately, delivered safely and executed in accordance with design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works on site
• Reviewing drawings and specifications
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with design requirements
• Supporting technical problem solving on site
• Monitoring progress and quality standards
• Maintaining site records and documentation
• Completing as-built surveys and drawings
• Supporting inspections and testing regimes
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures
• Assisting with temporary works coordination
• Supporting materials scheduling and subcontractor coordination
• Contributing to technical reporting and programme delivery
• You will work closely with Project Managers, Senior Engineers and Site Teams to ensure safe, efficient and structured project delivery.

About You

• Experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong setting out and surveying capability
• Good understanding of civil engineering construction methods
• Ability to work within a fast-paced London project environment
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS card

You will be technically confident, organised and capable of supporting delivery across complex civils packages.
