Site-Based Automatic Door Engineer

We're looking for a skilled and experienced Automatic Door Engineer to be stationed full-time at a major retail centre in London. In this key site-based position, you will be responsible for maintaining the safe and effective operation of all automatic doors on site.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of automatic door systems throughout the retail centre.
• Proactively monitor door systems for early signs of wear, irregular performance, or potential faults, and take initiative to carry out adjustments or preventative repairs before issues escalate or cause disruption.
• Diagnose and repair breakdowns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, including BS EN 16005.
• Accurately log maintenance and repair activities using both site and company job management software.
• Communicate clearly with both site staff and Entec's internal teams via phone, email, and software platforms.
• Attend additional callouts at other locations after your scheduled shift, when required.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Shift options: 06:00 - 14:30 or 07:00 - 15:30
• Includes a 1-hour lunch break

Requirements

• Proven experience in automatic door servicing and breakdown response
• Familiarity with multiple automatic door operator brands
• BS EN 16005 certification
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the U
