Salary: Up to £54,000 depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

Managing and reporting a varied portfolio of activities relating to services, maintenance and project activities across several Maritime Services locations of planned SF&I related outputs in accordance with business governance and policy, and UK national regulations

Financial management of capital expenditure. Managing multiple external and internal service providers to achieve agreed budgets, schedules and quality

Developing, monitoring, and controlling appropriate Management Information Systems enabling the effective review of facility capability and availability. Managing and reporting SF&I critical dependencies, issues, risks and opportunities in support of Products outputs

Engaging stakeholders within operational business units to clarify strategic intent and tactically develop solutions for SF&I demand

Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of all site buildings and grounds. Respond to emergency situations and urgent facility issues as they arise

Control and optimise the use of space and utilities, implementing efficiency and cost-saving measures

Responsible for compliance with all internal, legislative, regulatory, financial, and contractual requirements for business area

Build, maintain, and facilitate a culture of collaborative working within your business area and communicate with all stakeholders to effectively programme and project manage various stakeholder demands, requirements, and activities to achieve desired and planned outputs

Your skills and experiences:

A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards to ensure the site operates legally and securely

The ability to develop long-term strategies for site maintenance, efficiency, and growth, as well as execute complex projects on time and within budget

Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting related to site operations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to report to senior management, coordinate with department heads, and manage vendor relationships

The Site & Facilities Infrastructure team:

The majority of the relatively new team was formed over the last four years and has established a superb reputation for reliability solving problems and service to others. The team is customer facing at all times. We work closely with MOD, many businesses in the construction industry, and multiple internal departments. Our customers include every rank and grade throughout the business across multiple sites. Opportunities to deliver good quality facilities or services on time (and within budget) are quickly identified by team working with the customer, occupant or user.
