Pinnacle Recruitment are looking for a Site Agent to work for a leading contractor delivering high-quality civil engineering and utilities projects across the water sector.

As Site Agent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of water infrastructure projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory and client requirements. Projects may include water and wastewater networks, treatment works, pumping stations, and associated civil works.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site activities on water and utilities projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers
• Ensure works comply with design drawings, specifications, and programme
• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
• Ensure compliance with water authority and regulatory requirements
• Monitor progress, costs, and quality, reporting to the Project Manager
• Carry out site inspections, quality checks, and snagging
• Maintain accurate site records, permits, RAMS, and daily reports
• Liaise with clients, inspectors, designers, and local authorities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Site Engineer within the water or utilities sector
• Strong background in civil engineering works (pipelines, chambers, concrete works, mechanical interfaces)
• Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance in live utilities environments
• Experience working under water authority frameworks (desirable)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Relevant engineering or construction qualification
• Valid Safe Pass / CSCS (or equivalent)
• Confined Spaces, Temporary Works, or EUSR cards (desirable)
