We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated compassionate individual to join our team. An experienced nurse leader who is enthusiastic and dynamic. Working in conjunction with the wider hospital team to deliver a high standard of care to all our patients.

Managing and leading a busy department and team of ED staff. Motivating and role modelling high standards, implementing and driving improvements and initiatives. Continuously striving to achieve an outstanding Emergency Department.

As a busy dynamic team, we are responsible for promoting and protecting the reputation of the Trust. We do this through delivering high standards of care to all our patients and community. We continuously strive towards achieving an outstanding department through on-going improvements and initiatives. Developing and nourishing a positive culture is at the heart of all we do in our ED.

In return, we will develop your skills, knowledge and experience with formal and on-the-job training.

Person Specification Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent and relevant experience RSCN
  • Specialist A&E / ED course or working towards Mentorship Course or Equivalent
Skills
  • Recent and relevant experience in ED Nursing
  • Sound ability to problem solve and balance risk, safety and performance, putting patients and staff at the heart of your decisions
Experience
  • Experience of triage/assessment of patients
