Salary: Up to £47,016.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
The Park Hospital in Nottingham is part of Circle Health Group , Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
We have an opportunity for a Sister - Charge Nurse to join their team of staff on the hospital Wards.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
- Provide hands-on clinical care, acting as a senior point of support for complex or deteriorating patients.
- Coordinate daily clinical activity and ensure safe staffing levels, skill mix, and continuity of care.
- Allocate and supervise staff during shifts, ensuring responsibilities are clearly defined and patient needs are met.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NMC and organisational standards.
- Act as a key liaison for patients, families, consultants, and members of the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Assist with the coordination of admissions, discharges, and patient flow within the department.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
- Significant post-registration experience in an acute or relevant specialty.
- Experience in leading and supervising a team within a clinical environment.
- Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and coordination skills.
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and professional development.
