About the roleJoin St David's Hospice as a Shop Manager and help turn every purchase into vital care for local patients and families.
You will lead the day-to-day running of the shop, creating a welcoming, organised and vibrant environment for customers, donors and volunteers. Working closely with the Retail Support team, you will help maximise sales, maintain high standards and raise awareness of the Hospice's work within the local community.
We are looking for someone who can create attractive merchandising and window displays, oversee stock control, maintain excellent shop presentation and deliver outstanding customer service. You will also recruit, support and motivate volunteers, complete accurate administrative records and ensure health and safety standards are consistently met.
To succeed in the role, you will need previous retail experience, strong customer service skills and confidence leading and motivating a team. You should be highly organised, attentive to detail and comfortable managing a busy retail environment. A full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required, as you may occasionally support other Hospice shops. Most importantly, you will share our values and understand the importance of the Hospice's work.
