A day in the life of a Shop Manager will involve:

• Leading a team that provides a brilliant shopping experience for your customers.
• Working on the shop floor and coordinating activity behind the scenes; no two days are the same.
• Designing the perfect layout and environment that helps connect your customers to our cause.
• Being responsible for achieving financial targets and inducting, training, and managing new staff and volunteers.
• Representing the British Red Cross to a high standard and embodying our core values.

To be a successful Shop Manager, you'll need:

• Retail experience at supervisory level, delivering outstanding customer service, and comfortable with organisational and cash handling duties.
• Proven management skills to develop and inspire your team.
• An entrepreneurial mindset to work towards targets and use your initiative to achieve results.
• Proficiency with a PC and proven IT skills.
• A passion for the British Red Cross cause and the ability to promote the shop as the charity retailer of choice in your community.
