Job Title: Shop Floor Manager - Large Format

Our client has an impressive production facility where every process is done in house using state of the art equipment. This ability to design and manufacture everything under the one roof ensures products are built around the needs of clients.

They are looking for a consistent and reliable manager to take responsibility for the shop floor. The aim of this role will be to manage and mentor staff, creating a team atmosphere and instilling a culture of pride and ownership in the display products made.

• Ensure all projects are produced at optimum speeds whilst minimising waste and maintaining quality and consistency.
• Set high work standards and ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Drive cultural and quality change within the production facility through the implementation of best practice processes and techniques.
• Lead and support staff as part of a strong, committed team.

• Outstanding understanding of current trends within the world of large format print and insight into the future of the industry.
• In depth knowledge of the industry, enabling thorough comprehension of all job types, from the small, time consuming ones to the huge corporate accounts.
• Strong leadership skills with a great attitude.
• Prior experience in a shop floor manager or similar role within print/packaging/paper sector.
