Shipping Coordinator - Standards Lifecycle - Scientific Research and Innovation

Role

Full time, permanent position based in South Mimms, Hertfordshire. The Shipping Coordinator works within a courier and customer facing team to prepare, document and ship technically complex biological products to customers in more than 100 countries. The role involves generating shipping documentation, arranging transport with couriers and troubleshooting issues.

Key responsibilities

• Planning and shipping of customer orders.
• Communicating with internal and external contacts including scientists, customers and couriers.
• Proactive teamwork to problem solve and support daily team objectives.
• Following compliance requirements for health & safety policies and shipping regulations.

We are looking for

• Strong problem solving and communication skills to work with stakeholders.
• Team work orientation in a high tempo environment, supporting colleagues.
• Ability to understand and apply new knowledge including complex technical information.
• Experience with quality systems balancing customer needs against quality and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in an international customer facing logistics environment (biological, pharmaceutical or ABP).
