Position SummaryReports to: Maintenance Manager
Direct reports: None
Working Hours: Continental shift pattern (4 days on, 4 days off) with 12-hour shifts, rotating between days (06:30-18:30) and nights (18:30-06:30), averaging 42 hours per week.
Salary & Benefits- Annual Salary: £54,080.37 (including shift allowance)
- Quarterly Incentive: Between £1,300 and £3,000 annually, based on KPI achievement
- Overtime: Available

You will be a technical expert, responsible for maintaining manufacturing assets and ensuring plant reliability through preventative and corrective maintenance, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Support autonomous maintenance to develop team capabilities.
Responsibilities- Complete quality checks before and after maintenance activities, especially for intrusive tasks.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company standards.
- Perform maintenance following safety procedures, contributing to PDCA cycles for process improvement.
- Train and mentor autonomous maintenance team members on equipment and fault diagnostics.
- Assess personal skills needs and develop individual growth plans.
- Maintain high standards of 5S in the maintenance areas.
- Develop lubrication strategies and train team members accordingly.
- Complete scheduled maintenance proactively, providing feedback to planning teams.
- Lead root cause analysis sessions, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to work order procedures.
- Own technical responsibilities within your area, supporting the line team.
- Maximize wrench time and resource productivity, identifying opportunities for proactive maintenance.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering apprenticeship with practical experience.
- Recognized electrical/mechanical qualifications.
- Knowledge of SCADA, PLC systems, and CMMS software.
- Understanding of safety and manufacturing standards.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coaching skills.
- Ability to influence and prioritize effectively.
