A growing and well-invested manufacturing business based in Blackpool is looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled) to join its engineering team. Due to continued growth and ongoing investment across the site, this role offers a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking and secure organisation.

The business is committed to maintaining high engineering standards and is seeking a capable, hands-on engineer to support both reactive and preventative maintenance activities on a rotating days and nights shift pattern.

The Role:

As a Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled), you will be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding on production and site equipment
• Working with motors, sensors, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and control panels
• Responding to breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards

The Ideal Candidate:

You will be an experienced multi-skilled engineer with a background in manufacturing or industrial environments. Ideally, you will have:

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Relevant engineering qualifications (electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled)
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently across both day and night shifts
• A proactive, reliable, and team-focused approach
