Be a part of it.We are looking for a Bank Receptionist to join our team at Cygnet Kewstoke.Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke provides emergency admissions services for men and women, and a pathway for women to rehabilitation including a specialist service for personality disorder.Responsibilities include managing visitor security checks, operating secure access doors, handling urgent switchboard calls, and supporting with scheduling.Working in mental health administration requires a calm, compassionate demeanor, as the role often involves interacting with distressed or emotionally heightened individuals. Daily tasks heavily focus on balancing patient confidentiality with strict site security protocols.£13.00 per hour .1% annual leave.Provide a professional, welcoming reception experienceAssign security keys, visitor ID and alarmsGreet visitors & notify the appropriate member of staff of their arrivalEnsure visitors sign in & out, and that patients leaving & returning are recorded appropriatelyAnswer & transfer all incoming calls & take messages where appropriateSort & distribute post, and assist with general office duties as requiredKeep the reception area clean & tidyPromote the safety & security of all site users and ensure all staff comply with security protocols.You are An experienced receptionist/administrator used to liaising with service users and professionalsOrganised, naturally helpful and a good multi-taskerResponsible with an understanding of mental healthComputer literate - including Windows/Word/Excel/Outlook or equivalentKnowledgeable of telephone systemsPolite, friendly & approachable with excellent communication skillsA good level of numeracy and literacyDiligent & accurate, with an eye for detail and an understanding of confidentiality.Please note, successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.What next?If you care about making a difference - we want to talk to you.Click the button to apply
