We are seeking an experienced Shepherd to join our livestock team on a progressive, organic mixed farming estate, working predominately with the sheep flock, but will also involve supporting a pedigree Beef Shorthorn based suckler heard when needed.

The role will focus on the day-to-day management of a 1,000-ewe Aberfield flock, including breeding, lambing, grazing management, lambing is mainly outdoors, with a small proportion indoors in February.

Applicants should have a minimum of two years' sheep experience, be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team. A full UK driving licence is required; own dogs preferred.

The position offers a competitive salary, housing, 23 days' holiday, a non-contributory pension and access to additional benefits and employee discounts.

The role is based on an average of 39 hours per week however flexibility will be required to cover the hours necessary to fulfil the duties of the role.
