Madisons Recruitment are currently working with a reputable HVAC Contractor who offer a variety of Mechanical Design & Installation services tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients across the Commercial, Industrial, Hospitality, and Residential sectors.

They are currently recruiting for a driven, experienced Sheet Metal Fabrication Workshop Manager to join their team on a permanent basis based in their workshop in Hertfordshire.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and leadership skills who can manage workflow, quality control and a skilled fabrication team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day workshop operations and staff
• Plan workloads, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met
• Ensure all fabricated components meet industry standards and customer specifications
• Lead by example in safety, quality, and efficiency
• Maintain tools, equipment, and stock levels

Requirements

• Sheet metal fabrication experience (ideally in HVAC/ductwork)
• Strong leadership and planning skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
