Salary/Rate: Up to £40,000

Overview:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator with strong Brake Press experience to join a well-established engineering company based in Dartford. This is a hands-on workshop role working with a variety of materials to produce high-quality fabricated components to tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Brake Press machinery (Amada/Bystronic/Trumpf or similar)
• Bend, form and shape sheet metal to engineering drawings
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Work with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
• Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and tolerances are met
• Assist with general fabrication duties when required
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator
• Strong Brake Press operating and setting experience
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
