BV Dairy is a manufacture of specialist dairy produce, established 1958 in Shaftesbury Dorset. In 2024 we joined the First Milk group - a British farmer-owned dairy co-operative. You can find our products in most supermarkets across the whole of the UK.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a SHE Manager

Full-time, Permanent role, Onsite

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per year

Monday - Friday - 08:30 - 17:30

Main Responsibilities:

• To manage the company's Environmental and H&S management system and consult with regulatory authorities.
• To maintain and develop the company's certifications (ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 (ISO45001
• To manage accident and near miss investigations and plan improvements to reduce accidents
• To ensure that company meets environmental and H&S objectives within time scale given.
• To explore environmental and H&S advances in products, process and equipment that deliver benefits to the company
• Contribute as part of the BU leadership team beyond functional role
• Facilitate and manage projects to achieve targeted improvements in SHE aspects, reduction of wastage and optimum use of services, involving managers, operators, and other key personnel fully in the process.

Knowledge, Skill & Experience :

• Preferred: Env Permit Operators Competence NVQ, Train the Trainer cert, Food Hygiene qualification, Internal Auditor
• Certification continuation for ISO14001 and OHSAS18001(ISO 45001)
