SharePoint/Power Platform Developer

The Role

You will design, build, and enhance solutions across SharePoint Online and the Power Platform, delivering efficient, secure, and user-focused tools that support business processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Configuring and developing SharePoint Online solutions, including custom forms, list and library design, permissions, and integration approaches
• Extending SharePoint functionality using Power Apps and JSON form/list customisation
• Developing automated workflows and approval processes using Power Automate
• Integrating SharePoint and Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, Outlook, Excel, and OneDrive
• Advising on the most appropriate solution approach - SharePoint out-of-the-box vs Power Apps vs Power Automate vs custom connectors
• Ensuring solutions follow best practice security and permission models
• Troubleshooting issues quickly and delivering iterative improvements based on stakeholder feedback
• Working within established enterprise governance standards

The Person

You are a practical problem-solver who understands both technical capability and business needs.

You will bring:

• Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online
• Experience using Power Apps to extend forms and build custom solutions
• Solid experience developing workflows with Power Automate
• A clear understanding of when to use SharePoint native features versus Power Platform tools
• Experience integrating SharePoint Lists with Jira (desirable)
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 integrations (Teams, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive)
• Familiarity with Dataverse and model-driven apps (beneficial)
• The ability to design user-friendly, reliable, and secure solutions
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical decisions in plain language
• Confidence working directly with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
