SharePoint/Power Platform Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint/Power Platform Developer to support a large enterprise environment on a contract basis. You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimising digital solutions using SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Power Platform.

This role suits someone who can work independently, deliver quickly, and translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customise solutions using SharePoint Online, including lists, libraries, forms, and permissions.

• Extend standard functionality using Power Apps and JSON customisation.

• Build and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate.

• Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive).

• Design secure, well-governed solutions following best practices.

• Troubleshoot issues and provide rapid support when required.

• Document solutions and processes clearly.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with SharePoint Online development and configuration.

• Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Good understanding of when to use SharePoint, Power Apps, or Power Automate.

• Experience with Microsoft 365 integrations.

• Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environments.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

• Experience integrating SharePoint with Jira or similar tools.

• Familiarity with Dataverse and model-driven apps.

• Previous experience in large enterprise or regulated environments.
