Sharepoint Consultant

To strengthen the SharePoint program starting in September 2025, the client is seeking a confirmed SharePoint Consultant with 5 to 9 years of experience. In this temporary assignment, you will play a key role in supporting technical operations, developing solutions in SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate, mentoring and training internal colleagues, and helping to develop future-oriented SharePoint management.

This temporary assignment is part of a strategic plan to sustainably strengthen internal SharePoint capacity, including employee training and documenting best practices and procedures. At least one day per week will be allocated for employee training, with more time available if requested.

You will work closely with a senior consultant, but will also independently take responsibility and make substantive contributions to projects and governance processes.

Your tasks

1. Operational support

• Contribute to eliminating technical backlog and user questions.
• Reducing the operational pressure on the existing team.
• Support for current and future SharePoint projects (such as Intranet and migrations).
• Design and develop solutions in SharePoint Online, Power Apps and Power Automate.

2. Knowledge transfer, development & training

• Coaching and training an internal employee(s) in:
  • SharePoint development and management
  • Power Apps en Power Automate
  • SharePoint architecture and service desk operations
• Supporting internal training and knowledge sharing within the teams involved.
• Drafting of technical documentation, procedures and standards.

3. Governance & structural anchoring

• Contribute to the implementation of SharePoint governance: access control, data classification, life cycle management.
• Contribute to the further professionalization of internal SharePoint management and control structures.
• Actively participate in the sustainable embedding of management processes and knowledge within the organization.

Who are you?

Requirements

• 5 to 9 years of relevant experience with SharePoint Online.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Experience in coaching and training colleagues or internal teams.
• Proven skills in developing solutions within SharePoint and Power Platform.
• Strong communication skills and pedagogical ability.
• Structured approach to work and sense of initiative.
• Fluent in Dutch or French; both are a strong plus.

Trumps

• Understanding SharePoint governance, document management, and information architecture.
• Experience in project-based environments or the (semi-)public sector.
• Experience in developing and implementing procedures and standards.
