Severe Teaching Assistant

A specialist school in Ealing is recruiting a full-time Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

• Supporting pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Using communication methods such as PECS, Makaton, and visual supports
• Supporting sensory needs and emotional regulation
• Encouraging engagement, independence, and social development
• Working closely with class teachers and support staff

• Experience supporting SEND, SLD, Autism, or complex needs
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in care, education, or support settings (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available later.
