Setting Out Engineer Required

Paxton Personnel are looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to support the civil and construction work of a substation project. The role focuses on maintaining technical accuracy, quality standards, and smooth coordination on site.

Day Rate: £350 - £450 (Negotiable) Key Duties:

• Carry out precise setting out using surveying equipment
• Review drawings and raise technical queries where needed
• Support quality checks and inspection plans
• Prepare material quantities
• Complete as built surveys and maintain site records
• Work closely with project teams to resolve site issues
• Promote safe working practices and compliance

Requirements:

• Experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Competent with Total Stations and GPS equipment
• Strong understanding of quality-controlled environments
• Valid CSCS card
• Good communication and organisational skills
