Earn £27,338 per yearand great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw) plus on call shift payment of £14.30 per session

What you'll do and what you can expect in this role.

What you'll do
  • You'll be the Safeguarding Lead and will manage our passionate and dedicated team of Support Workers and Coordinators
  • Being present within the service to understand how it runs and identify opportunities to improve quality
  • Stepping in during crisis situations and supporting customers with empathy and professionalism
  • Overseeing maintenance issues and managing the service budget effectively
  • Attending multi agency meetings and steering groups to represent and develop the service

You have
  • Great people skills, ability to communicate and understand where people are in their life
  • The confidence to challenge behaviours that are not aligned to our values, and the ability to advocate for your customers
  • Ideally, you'll have experience of leading a team, and have the knack for empowering and developing others
  • Experience of delivering support in a housing or care environment
  • To get from A to B, you'll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we'll pay your mileage! This is essential for this role.
  • The role is primarily Monday-Friday 9-5, however there may be times where you will be required to cover the service - so flexibility is a requirement with this role.
  • You will be expected to provide cover in Worcester and Kidderminster - however this role will be primarily based within our Worcester services.
  • You will be based at one of our 24hr services. This role will be covering a mixture of the support services within the team so you will have to manage your diary effectively so that you are spending time at all different parts of the service.
  • You'll be able to use technology for monitoring spending on the budgets, ensuring that the paperwork that the staff team are completing is meeting the quality standards, setting rotas to ensure the services are always covered, creating documents to incorporate into the service so that the service and support is as effective as possible.
  • You'll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
