About the Role

Dennehy Commercials is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Service/Parts Advisor to join the team in Limerick. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a strong interest in the automotive industry, and is eager to develop their skills within a supportive and knowledgeable team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide clear, friendly guidance on service and parts needs
• Support the scheduling of vehicle service appointments and maintain accurate records
• Liaising with Technicians on a daily basis
• Supporting management when required
• Assist customers in identifying required parts and provide product information
• Prepare service estimates and explain recommended work in a way customers can easily understand
• Coordinate with the workshop team to ensure smooth communication and timely service updates
• Manage parts orders, inventory checks, and stock organisation
• Handle customer queries in person, by phone, and via email
• Ensure a clean, professional, and organised service desk area

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn technical information and explain it clearly
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills and comfort with using internal systems (training provided)
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and reliability in day-to-day tasks
• Previous experience in customer service or retail
• Interest in cars or the automotive sector
• Full driving licence essential
