Job Description

Join our dynamic IT team as a ServiceNow Developer, where you will play a crucial role in the development and configuration of complex solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This position is ideal for an individual with a passion for problem-solving and delivering high-quality software solutions within a software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain API and data integrations between ServiceNow and other applications.
• Build order guides, requested items, and tasks using workflows to manage process fulfillment.
• Develop, configure, and improve core functions that meet business requirements while adhering to best practices.
• Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs, including advanced Scripting of each.
• Create and configure Notifications, UI pages, Script Includes, and Formatters for system integrations and process automation.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and other teams to develop solutions and execute release-on-demand activities.
• Document technical requirements and as-built documentation.
• Collaborate with other internal IT teams to create automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and find practical solutions to address barriers, enabling forward movement in the application life cycle.
• Participate in system upgrades and other support activities as needed.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing using the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience working within a software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with AngularJS, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
• Expertise in configuring business rules, client scripts, UI policies, scheduled jobs, and UI actions in ServiceNow.
• Expertise in developing and administering ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, Self-Catalog, Integration Hub, CSM, Discovery, CMDB, and ITOM.
• Integration experience with REST, SOAP, and JSON/XML.
• Experience with working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Certified ServiceNow Application Developer Certification.
• Certified ServiceNow System Administrator Certification.
• Certified Implementation Specialist.
