ServiceNow Consultant: ServiceNow, Web Services, JSON, Angular, Implementation, Advice & Guidance - (RL8092)

Our enterprise client is looking for Technical Consultant is responsible for designing and delivering high quality ServiceNow technical solutions that meet customer business requirements. The role provides expert advice and guidance on ServiceNow implementation and technical best practices, working collaboratively with customers and internal teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.

Start Date: March 2026
Duration: 120 days
Pay Rate: £450-550/day
IR35 Status: Outside
Location: Milton Keynes (travelling to various client sites)

Active SC Clearance is highly desirable.

Accountabilities:

• Design and deliver ServiceNow technical solutions aligned to customer business and process requirements.
• Deliver high quality ServiceNow implementations in line with coding and design standards.
• Collaborate with ServiceNow CoE teams, sharing knowledge, identifying risks, and contributing to service improvement.
• Attend and present at customer meetings, gather and clarify requirements, and support knowledge transfer
• Assist with system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Maintain technical documentation and provide hand over materials.
• Continuous learning, self-study, and attainment/retention of ServiceNow accreditations.
• Administrative, governance, and escalation activities in line with company processes

Essential skills:

• Over 2 years experience working in the ServiceNow ecosystem in a similar technical role.
• Strong hands-on experience across multiple areas of the ServiceNow platform, including functionality, database structure, developer APIs, development tools, and techniques.
• Proficiency in web technologies, including JavaScript, SOAP/REST web services, XML & JSON, and Angular.js.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow implementation best practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working within Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Desirable skills:

• Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring junior consultants.
• Experience contributing to technical solution designs, bids, and project documentation.
• ServiceNow accreditations and certifications.
• Experience working in a customer facing consultancy environment.

Soft Skills:

• Consistent delivery of robust, scalable ServiceNow solutions that meet customer and business needs.
• Strong communication skills to avoid misunderstandings and prevent escalations.
• Proactive approach to identifying risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Commitment to technical quality, standards, and documentation.
• Effective collaboration across all ServiceNow Centre of Excellence teams.
• Continuous learning mindset and ability to stay current with ServiceNow platform developments.
