Job Description - Service Technician

• This is a mobile technical role: service technicians travel to our customer sites to service and repair catering, refrigeration & laundry equipment.
• This is also a busy and dynamic role requiring good technical knowledge.
• This role would suit people with technical experience.
• A Trade qualification in electrics, plumbing or refrigeration or registration as a Gas Installer would be a big advantage.
• Prior experience as a catering, laundry or refrigeration technician would also be an advantage.
• A full clean driving license is essential.
• Training will be provided.
• Candidates will be responsible for fault-finding, repair and maintenance of commercial catering, refrigeration and laundry equipment.
• Most customer sites are in the Dublin / Leinster area, but some are further afield.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities are essential in order to establish and maintain good customer relationships.
• Working hours will be Monday to Friday 0800 to 1600Hrs (we can be flexible with hours if required).
• Candidates will be expected to provide out of hours and weekend cover on a rota basis with our other engineers (usually required to cover 1 weekend in 4).

A company vehicle and full set of tools and overalls will be provided.
