Our Client is looking for an experienced and highly organised Service Manager to lead their aftercare and service operations across both domestic and large-scale commercial window installation projects. This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring all post-installation service issues are handled efficiently, professionally, and to the highest standard. The successful candidate will act as the central point of coordination between clients, and suppliers-helping maintain their reputation for quality and reliability.
Responsibilities- Manage all aftercare and service operations following installation.
- Coordinate and manage callouts and repairs.
- Oversee snagging lists and warranty claims.
- Act as the primary contact for service-related client communication.
- Handle and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Track recurring issues and liaise with internal teams to improve quality and processes.
- Coordinate with installation teams, project managers, and suppliers to resolve faults.
- Maintain accurate records of service activity, costs, and response times.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements and service-level expectations.
- Proven experience in a Service Manager / Aftercare Manager / Operations role (construction or window/door industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of window systems, installation methods, and common defects.
- Excellent organisational and scheduling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across domestic and commercial projects.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience dealing with contractors, site managers, and homeowners.
- Proficient in administrative systems and reporting.
- We are a nationwide company so must be willing to travel where necessary.
- Experience working on large-scale residential or commercial developments.
- Knowledge of glazing systems and supplier coordination.
- Background in construction, fit-out, or façade systems.
