About the Role

The Lead Service Engineer at Fabrum will be a key player in the development of our service function, ensuring it provides a scalable, profitable, and customer-focused revenue stream. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for driving processes and systems, while also providing technical support and service to customers and your team. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive the development of our service function both commercially and technically.
  • Provide technical expertise and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Enable efficient planning, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Work closely with product development and sales teams, providing feedback and seeking out new revenue opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement a range of systems and processes from asset management to ticketing.
About You

You are a skilled and experienced professional with a strong commercial mindset, able to lead a team and build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. You have a logical and methodical approach to problem-solving and can operate effectively under pressure.

  • Commercial exposure to developing or running a service function.
  • Proven ability to coordinate various parts of a function to achieve a common goal.
  • Experience in defining requirements for and implementing new processes and data systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute field activities efficiently to meet project deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
Exposure a Benefit
  • Experience with cryogenic systems or industrial gas processing.
  • Knowledge of systems like asset management databases and service ticketing platforms.
