Salary: €48,000 - €55,000 gross base salary + overtime + additional travel pay (total earnings circa €55,000 - €68,000) + company car (personal use after probation) + 8.33% holiday pay + 26 days holiday + pension + phone + laptop

This company is a maritime specialist supplying cargo and loading handling solutions to merchant, naval, port and offshore markets. Due to expansion at their Rotterdam site, they are looking to grow their market share and expand their specialist division by hiring multiple Service Engineers.

In this role, the person will working at customer locations, primarily in European Seas, conducting inspection, troubleshooting or repair projects for clients. The role is customer facing and demands excellent service delivery. All travel is fully paid and overtime is paid.

The ideal candidate will have a maritime/marine engineering background with experience in electrical, mechanical or hydraulic engineering. Fluency in English and an excellent customer manner are required. Flexibility and willingness to travel away from home are essential.

The role:

• Travel to customer sites across European Seas
• Inspection, troubleshooting and repair projects
• Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic engineering work
• 50%+ travel including staying away from home

The person:

• Maritime/marine engineering background
• Transferable engineering experience
• Fluent English speaker
• Comfortable travelling and flexible with schedule
