Service Engineer - EMEA - EV Charging Infrastructure
  • Delft, The Netherlands
  • Hybrid, 2-3 days a week in the office
  • Salary Up To €65,000 (including 13th month and holiday allowance) + Standard Dutch Benefits
  • Permanent contract

5V Tech has partnered with a global innovator in electric vehicle charging infrastructure who is establishing its presence in the Netherlands and building the foundational team that will lead service excellence across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America.

We're looking for a Service Engineer to support and execute the regional service strategy for a fast-growing portfolio of commercial EV charging systems. This is a hands-on and customer-facing role focused on delivering outstanding after-sales service, managing warranty cases, and supporting local partners with technical expertise.

You'll be part of the early team in the Netherlands, working closely with the EMEA Service Manager to maintain operational excellence across the region.

Day-to-day:
  • Provide technical service support to local customers and service partners across assigned countries in EMEA.
  • Act as the first line of escalation for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and issue resolution.
  • Manage and track warranty claims using internal service tools and platforms.
  • Conduct on-site service visits when necessary to support installations, repairs, or complex troubleshooting.
  • Maintain detailed logs of service activity, customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions.
  • Track and report key service performance metrics to the EMEA Service Manager.
  • Assist with technical training for customers and internal teams, covering maintenance and repair of commercial EV chargers.
  • Ensure that all service work meets company standards and complies with relevant safety and industry regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a technical field service, support, or engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics, ideally within EV infrastructure (AC preferred).
  • A hands-on, proactive mindset with a passion for problem-solving.
  • Experience using service management tools and diagnostic software.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • A customer-first attitude with a focus on high-quality support.
