On offer is a varied and challenging role working for a respected organisation within the rolling stock industry that offers great long term career progression.
Owned by a global holdings company, this organisation is a leading contractor for Network Rail. They have secured a number of engineering contracts for 2025 and offer unrivalled job security within the industry. They pride themselves on their industry-leading training and excellent remuneration packages.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a fleet of rail vehicles. You will be exposed to engineering challenges that cover mechanics, electrics, hydraulics, and pneumatics and will be provided with full training. You will be supported through a number of industry-specific qualifications to launch your career.
The Role:
- Reactive and planned maintenance on a fleet of rail vehicles.
- Covering mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic engineering challenges.
- Predominantly site-based with occasional travel to sites across the UK.
The Person:
- Hold an engineering qualification in any discipline.
- Previous experience within a maintenance background is highly advantageous.
- Happy to work outside in any weather conditions.
- Ex-Forces candidates are encouraged to apply to the role and will be offered training.
