Service Engineer - Glass & Glasslined

Our client is currently hiring a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair glass lined process equipment for customers in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. This is a hands on, customer facing role with regular travel across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, test, and commission equipment
• Perform inspections, maintenance, overhauls, and fault finding
• Carry out Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and equipment upgrades
• Prepare service reports, risk assessments, and documentation
• Support customers with service, spares, and technical issues
• Build strong customer relationships and support service sales
• Coordinate with internal teams on projects and schedules
• Deliver customer training when required

Requirements

• Qualified Mechanical Fitter (or similar)
• Experience with mechanical seals, gearboxes, agitators, and drives
• Strong troubleshooting and independent working ability
• Good communication and customer facing skills
• Full driver's license and willingness to travel

Desirable:

• Experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industries
