A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Service Desk Analyst to join a high-profile organisation in Stevenage. This is a fully on-site role, supporting a busy technical environment and ensuring users receive a high-quality service.We are looking for someone who can step straight into a fast-paced support function, bringing strong technical capability and excellent customer service. Active SC Clearance is essential.

Your new role
You will be the first point of contact for all IT related issues, delivering a professional and efficient service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1st-line support to users across the site
• Logging all calls accurately within the service management system
• Triaging incidents and service requests to determine priority and required action
• Escalating issues to 2nd-line or specialist teams when appropriate
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and account - related problems
• Supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365 and standard enterprise applications
• Maintaining clear and accurate documentation
• Ensuring a positive customer experience at every interaction

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a Service Desk or IT Support role
• Strong understanding of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
• Confident communication skills and a proactive approach
• Ability to work on site 5 days per week in Stevenage
• Active SC Clearance (essential)
• Candidates must meet specific nationality requirements due to security restrictions.
