Service Coordinator 7032
Location:Cam and Dursley, Gloucestershire
Hours: Full Time Permanent Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Our client is looking for an organised and personable Service Coordinator to join their team. This is a varied role combining customer service, administration and scheduling, coordinating engineers, servicing, repairs, deliveries and training whilst providing a high standard of support to customers.
Key Responsibilities of a Service Coordinator:
- Manage customer enquiries, quotations, orders and general service administration
- Schedule engineers for servicing, repairs and installations, coordinating availability and customer requirements
- Arrange machine deliveries, installations, repairs and workshop returns
- Manage service and repair enquiries, gathering relevant information and preparing estimates where required
- Process warranty claims and liaise with customers, manufacturers and internal teams
- Monitor completed engineer work, update service records and follow up any outstanding actions
- Contact customers regarding annual servicing and upcoming warranty deadlines
- Coordinate customer training bookings, managing diaries, confirmations, registrations and course documentation
- Maintain accurate customer, service, training and engineer stock records across internal systems
- Deal with delivery issues and coordinate returns, repairs or replacements where required
- Provide general administrative support and assist with additional projects when required
Key Skills of a Service Coordinator:
- Previous experience within administration, customer service, scheduling or coordination
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organisation with the ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines
- Good attention to detail and accurate administration skills
- Confident liaising with customers, engineers and internal teams
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and confidence learning new systems
- Proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
