We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Service Coordinator to join our dynamic team at a leading plant hire company. This pivotal role involves managing and coordinating a team of service engineers, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services to our clients. Responsibilities

• Team Coordination: Scheduling and rolling out a team of service engineers to meet client needs efficiently.
• Job Prioritization: Assessing and prioritizing jobs to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
• Parts Management: Sourcing and organizing parts required for repairs and maintenance.
• Order Processing: Raising order numbers and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact for engineers, providing clear instructions and updates.
• Problem-Solving: Addressing and resolving any operational challenges that may arise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the plant hire or related industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using scheduling and order management systems.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Day-to-Day

• Coordinating the daily schedules of service engineers.
• Communicating with engineers to provide updates and resolve queries.
• Managing parts inventory and ensuring timely procurement.
• Prioritizing and assigning jobs based on urgency and client requirements.
• Raising order numbers and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 1-in-3 Saturday morning rota.
